Dental health is a very important part of your pets overall health, and dental problems can cause or be caused by other health problems.

Veterinary dentistry often includes cleaning of your pets teeth. Periodontal or gum disease is the most common problem of the mouth in dogs and cats. It results in tarter formation on the teeth and spreads to tissue under the gum.

This leads to infection of the gum which can eventually effect the bone resulting in tooth loss. Gum infection often expand to the blood stream causing disease in the kidneys, heart , liver and muscle. Our dental cleaning are performed under anesthesia by the veterinarian.
