Dr. Daniel M. Core
Dr. Daniel M. Core was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and raised in St. Tammany Parish. After high school, Dr. Core attended Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana where he played football and where he earned a B.S. in Pre-Veterinary Medicine in 1977. He graduated from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1981 and completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at the Auburn School of Veterinary Medicine in 1982. In 1986, Dr. Core established Core Animal Hospital in Bossier City, Louisiana. He was honored by Who’s Who in Veterinary Medicine in 1987-1988. He is also a consultant and relief Veterinarian for the Barksdale Air Force Base K-9 Patrol. Dr. Core has authored two papers and has contributed to a surgery text book.
Dr. Core incorporated CO2 laser surgery into his practice in 2000. In addition to his veterinary practice, he lectures on CO2 laser surgery, laser therapy, and the Med Rx Videovet Scope. His laser lectures take him all over the United States, and his passion for his work and knowledge of laser surgery makes him one of the most popular laser lecturers in the country.
When away from work, Dr. Core enjoys hunting and fishing. He has three sons and makes his home in Benton, Louisiana with his wife Laura.
Dr. Sally T. Daville
Dr. Sally Daville was born and raised in Eunice, Louisiana. After high school, she attended LSU in Baton Rouge where she completed her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences in 2006. She was accepted into Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine and completed her degree in 2011. Her interests in veterinary medicine include orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, oncology and endocrinology. Dr. Daville is married to Lee Daville also a native of Eunice, Louisiana. They have made their home in Shreveport with their three dogs: two Shih Tzus Phoebe and Parker and Bosco a Labrador Retriever. In her spare time, Dr. Daville loves to travel. She also enjoys boating and cooking.
Dr. Erin Olson
Dr. Erin Olson was born in Slidell, Louisiana. After high school, she attended Louisiana Tech University where she received her Bachelor degree in Animal Science. She attended Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her doctorate in 2016. Her interests in veterinary medicine include digital imaging and surgery. Dr. Olson has one dog, a Vizsla named Amos Moses. Outside of work she enjoys outdoor activities such as camping and gardening, getting together with friends and family, and watching the Florida Gators.
